G2 Bioformers are a type of Bioformer that use pieces from Bionicle 2015 to 2016 sets.

In 2015 Lego rebooted Bionicle using the CCBS system introduced in Hero Factory. The Sets were very complex and expensive which resulted in fans using them for making Mocs. Because of this, Bioformer Mocs using Generation 2 sets are quite common. In 2016 Bionicle ended again after another year of sets were produced. Parts from 2016 are helpful for making Bioformers with Beast Modes. Plus this year started giving the characters more complicated Torsos which are helpful for making Mocs.
